lex, I have to assume from this comment of yours that you really don’t know much about world history or military matters do you? To NOT bring the troops home TODAY is militarily and politicly naive. Unless of course your objective is to weaken and impoverish the United States as much as possible. Is THAT YOUR objective lex? It certainly appears it. Isn’t it time you join most Americans in their desire for a strong America and call for an immediate withdrawal?

Seems the “world is flat” crowd is getting a wee bit heated. Wonder what the reaction will be after the mid-term elections? Oh well, they did elect such stellar competent leaders such as Nagin and Blanco so I guess a few can still figure out how to work a voting machine – be it paper or computer. But then that two week course on how to actually vote wouldn’t hold for those of us that actually work for a living! This whole idea of having a state issued picture ID could definitely put a crimp in the rights of dead voters throughout the Democrat Party. Guess they’ll have to increase the “learn to vote while dead classes” to three weeks. Void in New Orleans as prohibited by Nepoleonic Law of course!

And here we were resting comfortably knowing Da Grunt was pulled out of his line company and put in G HQ. Safely inside the wire. We actually slept at night for most of the month of August!
Ah but then we get the BN CO update that says Golf is now up north “alone and unafraid” (translation: living in the dirt in an undeveloped FOB without running water, chow hall, comm center, etc. chasing bad guys 24/7 and burning powder). Oh well, sleep is overrated anyhoo!
If only the young could learn to write on actual parchment or papyrus. Ha! Even a pigeon could’ve gotten here in a month’s time! The Co. CO better find some sat phone time for these boys or he’d best just not reploy back stateside. Marine Moms are a terrible force when riled. Insurgents-insmurgents!
