Interesting that we’re getting two different versions of the story:
According to the BBC, Pakistani officials say he accidentally blew himself up, while locals say an unmanned drone fired a missle.
MSNBC says it was a CIA missle strike. Interesting… Somewhat encouraging in that the CIA can have that kind of access in Pakistan, even if the Pakistani government can’t publicly admit it.
Either way — the bad guy’s dead.

Yes, a Predator was the platform. As they said during the very short war, “Having a helfire missile means you never have to say I’m sorry.”
Personally, I kind of like the ambiguity of the Predator vs accident thing. But then again, I’m not the kind of guy that has Hellfire-armed Predators looking for me,either.
