You can divert and run the risk of losing a combat aircraft for a, probably short, period of time or you can choose one of the carrier options, all of which are much higher risk (given both the A/C and pilot problems)and you could lose a combat aircraft and, possibly a pilot, for a very long period of time. Sounds like risk vs. inconvenience. Think I&#039;d bingo here, but that would not do much for the story tension.

I would like to say that not just a few years ago what you refer to as an &quot;external fuel tank&quot; (repairable of course) was called a &quot;drop tank&quot; for good reasons.

But that was before NAE Airspeed of course. Curious to see which way you go with this Lex.
