Also, Apple says that the beta version will be available for free download "for a limited time." I'm sensing a market-generation scheme for the new OSX version 10.whatever. Or else a market-generation scheme for buying a new MacBook Pro right away. Either way, I'm feeling gilled. And FbL - I don't know that I'd classify the old generation of fighter pilots - the Bob Hoovers and Chuck Yeagers of the world - could safely be called geeks.
