Here’s goodly gear, courtesy of John of Argghhh! at milblogs.
Update: Here’s this from an alert reader – caveat linkor, I suppose:
Just a heads up here. After accessing “goodly gear” (makes you appreciate all our troops, doesn’t it) I selected the option at the bottom to their home page. When it came up I received a Norton Auto Protect alert that it had trapped and deleted “download.trojan” from my temporary internet files | content folder. As I understand it, when any file activity occurs, Norton does a virus scan on that file. Although your site and the link were the only sites open at that time, there’s no telling where these things can come from these days. After thinking about it this morning I thought I had better let you know what happened.
So, be careful out there.

So much nicer than that Snarky Update …
I just don’t know how I got that fishhook so deep!?!?
Another beautiful (and haunting) reminder of who’s out there for us, and what’s at stake.
Thanks for the lump in my throat. It felt good to be reminded.
Brian
Capt. Thanks…
