Wikipedia: "In Buddhism, the concept of mudita, "sympathetic joy" or "happiness in another's good fortune", is often explained as "the opposite of schadenfreude". But this doesn't seem right. Wouldn't the opposite be "sorrow due to another's good fortune"? And is there a word for it? Maybe not niblicks aside, since we're getting all etymological and whatnot.
