My sympathies are with McCarthy, who if anyone recalls, was the prosecutor of the original WTC bombers. He learned the hard way, by dealing with our enemies for over a decade in the legal system, the nature of this enemy. I think Tigerhawk hits the priority correctly--of raising one faction against another. The danger is that so long as we fund the jihad with our consumption of ME oil, and we allow our enemies to continue, unrestricted and unchallenged, to build mosques and madrassas, and immigrate to our country, the fight will be over in the West long before we develop any significant concensus for popular sovereignty in the ME. As long as we let them come to the West, we are the escape valve for the ME thugocracies. Better to halt emigration altogether, halt the transfer of funds via oil monies and family money transfers, and force them to confront the gross failure of shari'a and its imitators in their own lands, on their own time.
