It’s got to be the guys at Powerline. Only thing that makes sense. Only thing that could be responsible for the sudden up-tick in Team Navy support to Valour-IT. An up-tick that has put us well in the lead of the other services with only four days left to go.
Only thing that might clap a stopper over them sojers. What with their muddy boots, brutally severe haircuts and mean, pinched faces. Taking on airs, like.
Now is not the time rest on our laurels, Navy. Now is not the time for self-congratulation. Not when there are still wounded veterans who we could help re-integrate back into the world. Now is the time to pony up, and re-double our efforts.
In fact, this is the time to twist the blade, is what it is. Dig a little deeper.
Oh, and there’s still a size 40R flight suit on offer over at the auction site. And that helmet is a bargain at $60. Among other things. So, you know:

I did a double take when I saw 31k! I’ll echo the sentiment: celebrate the ability to vote today by handing over a few dollars to help those that make it possible.
Definitely Powerline. I have the charts, and will get them posted tonight. Should be able to qualify for a Powerpoint Ranger tab after this…
Ken;
We ain’t got no stinkin’ shoulder tabs! You wanna become greeen after all your blue time?
And…for all you Navy loyalist…send Ken a round of virtual or real applause for making this possible! He held onto that juglar vein until he made it bleed green into our pot!
Wow. The power of Powerline. Last time I checked Navy had about $18K in the bag. $10,000 in about 2 days. Absolutely awesome!
Of course, it’s not about the competition, just the end result as those laptops find a deserving home.
(But it’s REALLY COOL to see Navy in the lead!)
What am I saying. $20,000 – even more awesome.
Lex, Ozwitch
I noticed that too. Navy nearly doubled in some 24 or so hrs (weekend to Tuesday). I then saw the post on Powerline (one of my regular reads) and thought that had to be it.
By the way, awesome. Kudos and thanks to Scott at Powerline.
Oh yeah,
Kudos to Ken for getting Powerline on board Team Navy.
Hey, have you guys seen Noonan? Where’s Noonan?
