Lex,
All I know is that Congress has a way of absorbing many a diverse personality.

Since I posted about him right after the CNO fired him, I have heard a lot (well before he ran for Congress) from readers who knew him very well. In my real world ID, I also talked to a few who knew him by working for him.

I would smile more if he wasn’t going the surrender line – but I am not shocked, it is what he ran on.

He will chew them up and more will show to take their place.

The CNO must wonder who he made so mad upstairs….

I was part of the Battle Group ADM Sestak commanded 5 years ago… I think I learned a lot about how not drive people. One thing though, his last day in command he went to all the ships in the Battle Group that were in port that day and shook everyone’s hand and thanked them for their hard work. I stood there in dis-belief not knowing what to think of it, still not sure what to think of it.
