The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones "Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra" "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche "A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke "Μολὼν λαβέ" -- Leonidas "Blogito Ergo Sum" -- Neptunus Lex Relocating?Military members find information on homes for military by visiting Military Homes.com For the Effort!Subscribe![]() Tagsafghanistan AGW Araby army Blogging buffoonery china culture economy Flying Friday Musings geopol GWOT Headlines health care History iran iraq issues Media Memory Lane Military Navy norks Oz pakistan piracy politicians politics Politics and Culture pundits Russia science seals sea stories silliness Small Stuff SoCal sport technology UAVs UK usaf usmc weapons WP Cumulus Flash tag cloud by Roy Tanck and Luke Morton requires Flash Player 9 or better. |

So Cap’n…. that geek wouldn’t be you, would it?
Awesome! That is until you try to board a plane with your “Thumb drive!” You’ll end up being “Michael E-VICK-ted!”
Cool enough though!
Is this thing waterproof?
I always flew with a Swiss Army Knife. Gotta ’round the Tool Tag issue, and was always ready to remove panels (and corks!), wherever our RON took us.
Makes sense… I’ve used a stick drive more than my SAN lately, which I’ve carried for over 20 years. “Cutting edge” technology (pun intended).
Uhh, guess that would be “SAK”. Only those in Rio Linda have Swiss Army Nives.
Can’t take it on an airplane (commercial). Put it on bluetooth instead. Where’s the MP3 player?
Darlin’… you’re behind the times on this one. I got one for my honey for Christmas a YEAR ago. That being said, he LOVES it!!! I highly recommend it. The thumb drive can be removed for travel, so that you can pack the knife and take the thumb drive on the plane with you.
And a light! It has a Ruby Red Light! For you can compute without losing your dark vision…but only if your laptop has a matching Ruby Red monitor.
