And sounds darn close to the class of hate propogand crimes – things like advocating genocide, public incitement of hatred and promoting hatred.
Not the kind of thing you can just say “Oops, sorry, I didn’t really mean that” to as a defence. The words “I am going to kill you” still constitute a crime, no matter how you try to squirm out of it later. I have a few more words I want to say but they just ain’t fit for public consumption. So I will just think them instead.
Wouldn’t you just love it if the Howard gov’t kicked his butt out of the country?

He CAN be prosecuted under our sedition laws as inciting terrorism. Remains to be seen whether that happens or not. Certainly the Muslim community as a whole is not jumping up and down in outrage demanding his arrest.
Of course the Sheikh can’t lead by example – he’s too busy spreading the word so that others can do it instead.
