My mom is descended from Pasamaquoddy & Pentucook Indians, native to New Hampshire and Maine. I'm a mix of Swedish, Dutch, English, Scots, Indian. We go all the way back to the Vikings - which some argue (including my family) explored this region long before Columbus mistakenly got the credit. There are even privateers (come on, call them what they were - pirates) on my dad's side dating back to the 18th century.
