Let me see if I can get this straight: Shortly after having launched a series of rockets into Israel from Gaza – in violation of an on-going truce – three members of the armed wing of the Palestinian rejectionist movement Hamas are shot to death by the Israeli Army while attempting to plant a bomb on a security barrier separating Gaza from Israel.
For the “crime” of having killed these three in the act of planting an infernal device, Hamas declares the “truce” to be over, and vows retaliation.
Well. That’s some definition of a truce you’ve got there, big fellah. You know, where you’re allowed to fire rockets and plant bombs but they’re not allowed to stop you. Groovy.
The BBC article helpfully reckons the math for us:
Saturday’s deaths brought to 5,673 the number killed since the outbreak of the Palestinian intifada uprising in 2000, according to AFP.
Most of those killed have been Palestinian.

A truce for the Islamofacists, is not a truce, as we understand it, it is more like a time out, but only for them. It is for their convenience, so that they can, rearm, regroup, rethink, or you fill in the blank. It’s part of the code they operate by. The sooner any population under attack by Hamas or any other like group understands this and demands of it’s leaders the offending groups total extermination, the sooner they will enjoy a more stable peace. That goes for Israel or anybody else (are you listening Harry R?). I don’t think Olmert can grasp this, but I know Benjiman Netanyawhu does. I know this is not news for anyone that hangs out here, but it is just so frustrating to observe national leaders (Pelosi’s an excellent example) who would seek peace with these animals. Sorry, I don’t mean to insult some our four footed friends, but there it is.
It’s not fair, they called “Olly olly oxen-free” when they were planting the bomb. Everyone knows you can’t get tagged “out” when you have your hand on the security barrier!

When do you all suppose that this administration, or any other Western government, will call a spade a spade and correctly announce that the Global War on Terror is really a Global War on Radical Islam. If you can not or will not identify the problem how can you defeat the threat..
