I have literally never, not a single time, watched KO. And, frankly, I'm someone who would probably agree with him a lot. Still, I would guess that no one can top Sean Hannity for preening, smug, self-righteousness and an utter lack of concern for relevant facts. In any case, between snark and vitriol on the blogs and self-righteous garbage on the TV, it is a miracle that genuine democratic debate survives anywhere. One last thought: If I concede that "terror" is the great struggle of our time (and I think internal decay and maybe China eclipse it), then I think Iraq is a strategic error that was bound to flounder. Hopefully this will not irreparably damage the whole effort. Many here will disagree, of course, and I respect that.
