Targets of Opportunityblog advertising is good for you Credo"Sign on, young man, and sail with me. The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones "Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra" "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche "A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke “You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours.”--General Sir Charles Napier "Μολὼν λαβέ" -- Leonidas "Blogito Ergo Sum" -- Neptunus Lex Amazon AssociateFor the Effort!Winnar!![]() Subscribe![]() CategoriesPagesTagsacademy

Cheered me up considerably! Thanks, Lex.
Oh goodness…I think I ruined my keyboard by drooling all over it. That was incredible.
HFS: Nice to know my friends actually read my blog. /snark
Lex: A link to my actual blog post might be nice (yeah, I’m extra snarky today
). But as to proper attribution for link/title… I’ll happily take credit for either one. *GRIN*
[Oops! Did I actually say that last part aloud? Hmmm... My alter ego seems to be reverting to her old flirtatious ways... Gentlemen (and other males), better run while you can!]
There must be some sort of etiquette book I haven’t read yet. Maybe when I get to the big leagues.
Ouch! Coming from a big leaguer to a amateur player, that hurt.
You know I was just teasing, Lex. Like I said, extra snarky today.
Uh oh…someone let the Fuzzy cat out of the bag…literally. Careful boys…her claws can be sharp!
I think some here might need a nurse…hee hee
Awesome nap of the earth shots and good song by Evanescence. Thanks Fuzzy
As I always say – SAH-WEET! Thank u!!
And yeah, Evanescence is too cool.
Kris,
They are coming to town in the next month or so.
One of my guys wants to go. I think I’ll tag along, just for the people watching, that’s in it. That and I love live concerts, just can’t handle being all jammed into a crowd as well as I could when I was a lad.
Unkawill: I’m SO jealous; I couldn’t get anyone I know to go to an Evanescence concert and I’m not inclined to go alone. My hubby tolerates it when I blast them on the radio, but just barely (though I think the tide is shifting a bit – he really liked the plane pr0n and thought the song was excellent background for it).
And I’m with you – crowds don’t appeal to me anymore. And tickets are so expensive…god I’m starting to sound like my parents!
(Sorry for the threadjack folks, back to the regularly scheduled pr0n.)
Very cool!
And perfect music to with with
Lex, you evil %$%^&%,
For someone who never gets to slip the surly bonds of earth anymore, except for the occasional cattle car excursion from hither to yon, that was painful to watch.
More, please?
