Targets of Opportunityblog advertising is good for you Credo"Sign on, young man, and sail with me. The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones "Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra" "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche "A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke “You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours.”--General Sir Charles Napier "Μολὼν λαβέ" -- Leonidas "Blogito Ergo Sum" -- Neptunus Lex Amazon AssociateFor the Effort!Winnar!![]() Subscribe![]() CategoriesPagesTagsacademy

‘Nice’ show Lex. Lots of appeal to one’s basic sense of survival. But when the slide comparing the Research & Innovation budgets of Nintendo and and American R & I in Education, this brain commences composing another cynical, stupid comment to post. If our governmental/political system were working properly, the federal government would be investing nothing in education, much less R & ‘I’. Can you imagine giving big bucks to Phd’s in Education? Academia is a joke and the Ed. Dept. is the silliest branch of the whole freakin funny farm.
Education is not a federal responsibility. I would just as soon have the government invest heavily in R and ‘I’ for sexual gratification. Larry Flint for Secretary of the Dept. of Pleasure and Gratification.
Oh! to the point. Live with it folks, the Brits did OK. Oh, and for ethnic survival it’s kinda necessary to win your wars. Well Do’h, Nancy and Harry.
No wonder my brain hurts.
Cottus ~ I thought much the same when I saw the slide about Nintendo vs. the DoE. The DoE should be abolished immediately. Strong words from a teacher, eh?
Larry Flint, huh? Interesting. Could make life a lot more fun…
Stats can be so darned interesting, ya know?
Like how many of them are boys, and how many of them were aborted girls?
How long till they are on the rapid decline because of a lack of reproductive females?
The real problem is that with a limit of 1 child per household, a boy is more likely to succeed in the workforce, so they off the girls. It’s a real problem over there, gendercide if you will, numbering in the millions of females being killed off.
I fear a problem of the future that already seems to be rearing it’s ugly head relating to a story of a Mother killing puppies because you can only raise what you can feed…
