Woot-woot!

That took long enough.
If at first you don’t succeed…

The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones "Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra" "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche "A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke "Μολὼν λαβέ" -- Leonidas "Blogito Ergo Sum" -- Neptunus Lex Relocating?Military members find information on homes for military by visiting Military Homes.com For the Effort!Subscribe![]() Tagsafghanistan AGW Araby army Blogging buffoonery china culture economy Flying Friday Musings geopol GWOT Headlines health care History iran iraq issues Media Memory Lane Military Navy norks Oz pakistan piracy politicians politics Politics and Culture pundits Russia science seals sea stories silliness Small Stuff SoCal sport technology UAVs UK usaf usmc weapons WP Cumulus Flash tag cloud by Roy Tanck and Luke Morton requires Flash Player 9 or better. |

Huh. So is my site; which is bizarre since I fail to understand what they’d could possibly find worthy of censoring.
The more I play with this site, the more I call BS on the validity of their “test”. I could not find a single US based site that was not blocked, even those with no content (a nearly blank page).
I then started testing sites that are located in China (according to geobytes IP address locator). I have serious doubts that they are actually blocking Chinese university websites: http://www.blcu.edu.cn/, but according to greatfirewallofchina.org, even THIS is blocked. As were 2 other university related ones and some other general chinese sites.
Believe what you will, but, I find nothing credible about the site.
Yea, but you are blocked by One Net too ( Just like NMCI-only slower and more expensive), so its not just the Chinese that you have pissed off.
Either that or the US government has more in common with the PRC than it wants to admit.
What SJBill said
The honor is well-earned.
BZ, Cap’n. Work hard, and your efforts pay off.
Skippy-san,
Slower then NMCI? What is it? HTML via telegraph? Yikes.
[...] was thinking about something I saw on Lex’s blog – the Great Firewall of China. Many people these days try to portray China as not all that bad. [...]
