BTW, there’s one bit of news you missed today. Turns out that historians have discovered that Beethoven was killed by his doctor… Kaiser Permanente. You may thank my brother for that one.

For the month of August, we’ve only gotten below 3 digits the last couple of days – and it ain’t a DRY heat – humidity at 99% when I get up in the mornings!
Sad to say, I missed out on my tourist this year, too.
Oh and Lex, you don’t talk fast at all. For us Yankees it’s about on par with our own cadence. Makes perfect sense to me.
Lex, if you think you talk fast, come to NYC. Regarding Mr. DePalma, he’s trying to resucitate his career. The movie will bomb at the box office, and is being made for his acolytes.

Doorkeeper, I really wouldn’t recommend the uniform. In my very limited experience, the uniform comes complete with conscientious Navy Captain __________, and he’s not nearly as much fun as “Lex.”

As to to the 3 students in Florida with the IEDs, a 37 year-old man in Toronto, Ontario/Canada, was arrested yesterday after having been found with 3 IEDs in his car. Frightening coincidence, to say the least.

Thanks, I was surprised when I googled to find no less than three (3) bombing stories–one of the two mines in a family recreation area, one of the mail bomber and some pretty substantial bombs being sent through the mail (which linked to a similar story of 9 such bombs being sent through the mail in England), and then there’s the unindicted co-conspirator of the two clowns indicted in South Carolina. The second looks like a disgruntled something, but 1 and 3 are disconcerting, to say the least.
Oh, wait, the letter bomber was named Mohamed. Surprise! We’re probably three for three here.

FbL, I do adore a man in uniform…..not ANY man in uniform, mind you! But Lex passes on all criteria. Somehow, though, it would be easier to wolf-whistle at the puter IF I could fool myself into thinking it was just the uniform, eh? Like, not leering at someone I actually know and admire…but just the uniform. Makes no sense, I admit!
So, Lex…a hat, now and then? But wait, you have great hair…
sigh. I give, I’ll just admire you. It’s OK, I am perfectly harmless, even when slightly intoxicated…I make bad jokes, not passes.
