I read another story this morning that a lot of the speculation about what's going on hinges on a re-flagged NK freighter that recently paid a visit to Tartus. I wonder if now that NK is making nice, they've sold their program - lock, stock and barrel - to Syria?

Yankee Sailor,

That's an interesting observation. Even the last possibility as described by Lex still should have had Islamic Rage Boy and the rest of his merry men out in the streets protesting the Israeli incursion into the sovereign territory of Syria. But nothing. Not a peep. It's not even on the MSM, I had to search to find it in the IHT and Jerusalem Post. So, if it was nothing that they bombed, why aren't they hollering? And if it was something they bombed, why isn't it being reported?

What's amazing here is the startling silence of the rest of the Arab world. No demonstrations, no two-faced words of protest from Arab leaders, it's nothing. Zip. Zilch. Zero.

Either the rest of the Arab world is starting to hate Syria, or they know the Syrians were up to no good....

Of course it's John Clancy, haven't you ever seen 'The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension!"?

As far as taking out Iran, Sarkozy is talking tough, let them do it. I want to see HOW they think they could do it, then I'd want to see the world-wide reaction. We could just sit there with a serene countenance and observe the proceedings.
