Was it a publicity ploy on Bollinger’s part? If it was, it certainly hurt the US in the process.

Just as an aside….as I write this, Hugh Hewitt is rippig Bollinger up one side and down the other.

I found his “…propose we don’t return to the past…” answer pretty ironic since these guys never pass up a opportunity to remind us of Mossadegh, 1953, and the CIA.

He must be so proud of himself for speaking Truth to Power.

The only problem with trying to shame fanatic psychopaths is that, well, they’re pretty much shameless and don’t really care what silly academics think of them… Oh yeah, and they’re kinda dangerous too.

This quote is from the article linked in Lex’s “hanging around cranes” reference above. Because killing a 16 year old who was unchaste, had a smart mouth and took off her head scarf in public is such a painful thing to do, takes so much time to consider, that the thought of a prolonged stoning is just hard to take. Better to hang them high and get it over with quickly, so the good judge can get back to his goat f&*^%$$.

He’s a hypocrite, a thug and a terrorist. Eternal shame on Columbia for allowing him to have a pulpit from which to further spew his filth, venom and revisionist philosophies. I don’t particularly care that Bollinger opened with such attacks – Ahmanutjob should never have been there to begin with.
