Cows – Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that, when investigating Mad Cow disease, our government can track a single cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington ? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.
The Constitution – They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don’t we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we’re not using it anymore.
The Ten Commandments – The real reason that we can’t have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post “Thou Shalt Not Steal,” “Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery”, and “Thou Shall Not Lie” in a building full of lawyers, judges, and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.
Clever. Especially the bit about the cows.
Being from Texas North (Alberta), I’m quite frustrated with how slow you Yanks have opened the border to our beef again. It’s been 4 years, and now it’s finally open.
And the 3rd point, well. I’m not planning on law school for nothing!

This is a no – brainer, Lex. Cows can’t vote if for no other reason they cannot fit in the booth or get mail*. Illegals can.
Cynical note: The reason there are all those clinics and emergency rooms built close to the border is that they are good profit centers for MD incomes. Heavily tax supported, required by law to service all comers, they teeter on bankruptcy, but that’s just an accounting trick. And citizens think the laws requiring hospitals treat all comers is about them and their health needs – Wrong. And citizens think it’s just those greedy businessmen, agri and regular (eeevil Republicans all) who are castrating the closing of the border. Wrong again.

*There is news that PETA is working on civil rights for the higher apes, chimps and such. They will be voting Democrat, of course, but oh, the opportunity for satire.
Why not Ray? Cows don’t enjoy the priviliges of US citizenship and neither do illegal aliens..at least on paper. Yet.
