Targets of Opportunityblog advertising is good for you Credo"Sign on, young man, and sail with me. The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones "Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra" "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche "A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke “You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours.”--General Sir Charles Napier "Μολὼν λαβέ" -- Leonidas "Blogito Ergo Sum" -- Neptunus Lex Amazon AssociateFor the Effort!Winnar!![]() Subscribe![]() CategoriesPagesTagsacademy

Heh,
Comedy Noir. It is to laugh. Then cry because it is all so true….. sigh…..
Perhaps the brits could lease the carriers to the Marines? It’d keep the F-35 STOVL off our regular flight decks, and give the Marines a couple of carriers to support their own ops with…
Well, the F-35 has to actually work. I’ll believe the hype on it when it has completed most of it’s SDD testing without being feature cut and without costing an arm and a leg. Buick of stealth indeed.
Funny vid though. It is showing up on a lot of blogs.
What really scares me is some politician listening to this and saying, “Now, this is really brilliant, it makes perfect military sense! Let’s try it!” Of course everybody else in the room is rolling on floor in laughter. The very same pompous A$$, politician asks, “What is so funny!”
These guys are equal-opportunity spoofers. Here’s a great commentary on British politics and free speech: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBAeVjEwRi0&feature=related
Man, those guys did their homework. That was “spot on”. It pains me greatly to see the decline of the land of my ancestors, especially since they’re one of the few friendly forces on par with our own, quality-wise. At least the quality of their fighting personnel is up to snuff, if Michael Yon’s recent dispatches from Iraq are any indication.
I wonder what the French Navy thinks of this … are they supposed to use the JSF too or are they sticking to the Rafael-m? The French will actually have a decent carrier force once the de Gaulle gets fixed and their first CVF comes on line. I’m looking forward the first American-Anglo-Franco carrier division attacking someone or other. Has to happen some day … hope I’m there.
I thought they were getting the Eurofighter.
