Old--but there is no legal authority for hiring "intelligence analysts," they must always be hired under the guise of "information systems." Hence the sometimes strange requirements of the postings.

Tralfaz.

Wasn't that a name that Bugs Bunny used in a cartoon to name a horse or a dog at the races?

Any company with a name coined by Bugs Bunny can't be all bad.

Hey Lex, just got done posting a similar message over at Chap's place since he's been discussing the same sort of deal, but thanks for discussing this. As a ready to go soon to be butter bar, it's useful to get a reminder every now and again that there in fact is a life after the military.

Lex , I'm in the advice for money game ( a most noble profession, indeed) and usually refrain from giving unsolicited ( read Free ) advice on the theory that such advice...like an oral contract is not worth the paper it's writen on...but circimstances have now forced me to make an exception.

The topic of what you might do when you leave the service has generated loads of well meaning suggestions . Obviously what you intend to do after the service is none of my buseness ...and truth be told, I don't really care.

My only suggestion, not advice, is to take some extended time off...to decompress from almost three + decades of military/naval life. You have a well deserved pension and a working Spousal Unit... take the time just this once...you won't regret it.
