That’s a hell of a thing to read at Oh-My-God-thirty before going to work….
Now, here in Naples, kids are running around lighting off bombs round the clock that rattle the windows out of their frames from hundreds of meters away. New Year’s Eve, in Budapest, rockets everywhere, and gang warfare of a sort between the Chinese and the Romanians, who were always trying to chuck an M80 at each other, ideally unobserved. Mortars failing to launch and igniting on the ground while a Chinese was trying to fix it, quite a show in old Pest. My six-year old boy loved it.
