I cant stand these uniforms. Too hot, buttons won't stay on, and the cost is rediculous. The utilities were fine and the summer whites and Johnny Cash's were our best looking uniforms.

Perhaps I am just "old school/ Old Navy" I like the BB, the bottons and the dixie cup! Nothing IMO looks sharper than a line on the main deck of white hats in pressed and starched denim and chambray! To me these things no matter which branch and what color just look like PJ's Fair Winds and Following Seas mates!

To be completely honest, I like this uniform. Its about time that the Navy gave us a working uniform that made us look like we were in the military and not a gas station attendant. On the other hand, I completely disagree that the rules and regulations for wearing this uniform states that you cannot wear this anywhere that civilians can see you in them. I thought the point of giving us a new uniform to wear was so that we people would recognize us as U.S. Navy Sailors and possibly give the Navy some free advertisement.
