LOL…I thought the same thing when I read “unemployed charity worker”. Believe the synonym for UCW is “bum”.
I find the “like a pig” reference interesting. I mean, how would a Muslim know what it is to be like a pig, when they don’t eat pork. For that matter, given the U.K. ban on things like piggy banks and readings of “The 3 Little Pigs”…what opportunity has existed to allow the little sh!t to know what it feels like to be a pig.

Wow, that was a chilling read, xformed. Especially about the kid who couldn’t quite come to admitting that maybe gays oughtn’t be murdered.
Bawer’s gay theme gets a little old, but I think xformed has it right–they are the canaries.
