You haven’t heard? They started cutbacks in the number of virgins in 2003. It seems that they were getting an influx of too many jihadis all of the sudden. They cut back to 7.6 virgins per jihadi. There is talk of cutting that number back even further.

I never thought that 72 virgins was much of a deal. By day 73 (if not sooner, depending on your proclivities) you’ve run out of them, and you get to spend the rest of eternity begging for your 73rd, 74th, etc. interaction.

It’s all B.S. My take on ALL this:
Mohammed was the “P.T. Barnum” of the Arabian Peninsula back then. Studying the religions of his fellow tradesmen on the peninsula who were Jews or early Christians he co-opted their religious precepts (montheism, etc.) and created a religion that would appeal to the vast numbers of atheistic, wandering , eye for-an-eye, Bedouin tribesman…..Brilliantly, he created a religion specifically adapted to his own times perfectly suited for his “constituents”.
Convert (submit) or die to my new religion, Mohammed and his followers swept the globe East and west…As a result fundamentally not much has changed for them in over a 1000 years.

Steve Martin had a humorous take on the 72 virgins.
A great deal less humorous is that Nice Jihadi Girls are so thoroughly protected by their families (when they aren’t being throttled) that the Jihadi Boyz are pretty much precluded from hooking up at home. Lacking a well-developed skill set, they appear to be resorting to gang rape in places like Australia and Norway.

Lex if you carry your previous statement through it presents an interesting theory. The boyz can’t hook up here, but if they off themselves through jihad, they can have all they want in their version of heaven. On the other hand. The girls are kept under wraps here or else they are killed in “honor killings” and supposedly go to heaven and become virgins for the boyz. What a f**ked up religion.
What you seem on the verge of coming to a epiphany about Jim C., is that we in the West are already IN “paradise” by their standards, vice the self fulfilling and perpetual Hell a true Islamist must find himself/herself in every day….
That is a big reason why they attack us. There isn’t much but naked, primal envy at the core of their psyche. In other words- collective madness.
