Howard Dean on military service

Two statements about the importance of military service to a national statesman – pick the one made by Howard Dean:

A) While we honor (the candidate’s) military service, the fact is Americans want a real leader who offers real solutions, not a blatant opportunist who doesn

Howard Dean was clueless as a governor and he remains ever clueless about the military and the people who serve this country in that capacity. I have heard him make the statement while governor about HIS Army National Guard, they were just a bunch of guys with bulldozers and dump trucks when in fact he didn’t bother to know or find out that he had an armored brigade full of other soldiers in the state. As for the “blatant opportunist” comment, it drips of hypocracy. The only way that guy became a governor is when the Republican governor died in office while he was the LT Gov. As for becoming the Chair of the DNC, he got enough traction when he ran for Prez that the Dems couldn’t ignore him.

I’m just glad that God has a sense of humor. In a year when all the usual political indicators would point to an overwhelming Democratic victory we have been “blessed” with Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Not since Larry, Moe and Curly have we seen a triumvirate of such political acumen.

A Richie- rich Trust Fund ski bum by way of the upper east side, the Hamptons and the Peoples Republic of Burlington…a totally useless walled -eyed sh**t-head…

… and yes M6 there is a God and thankfully for the good guys… he/she? has a grand sense of humor. Best

  • M6,

Don’t forget the two — cut and run in the face of our enemies — Marxists still slugging it out for the Dem presidential nomination… As I’ve said before; grab the popcorn and beverage of your choice. It’s going to be an — ehem — interesting election year.

Check out these comments by Mr. Whooooeeee from Vermont… and some of his friends. “W” makes a very SOLID point, too! Why don’t they support the men and women THEY voted to send into harm’s way?

You would think it’s the very least they should do… and yet, they continue to do not EVEN LESS… but worse.

Hey, Marine6, you’re being kinda hard on some of my favorite guys, the Three Stooges, aren’t you? Their estates might be offended. :)

“a totally useless walled -eyed sh**t-head…” Think of all the $S HD could have saved on psych-evals…

The old double standard. You need to understand Dem code talk:

Bipartisan= Abandon your position and see things the Dem way

Republican war hero = clueless baby killer

Dem war hero = war hero

Personally, I think Dr. Dean (Socialist-VT) has been watching too much of John (The Gamer) Kerry’s Winter Soldier testimony.

  • Jim Collins

Dem War Hero………….isn’t that an oxymoron?

  • I would prefer whomever most resembles George Washington, the description of the powers and duties of the President, in the Constitution, having been written with him in mind.

Ain’t a whole lot of people like that, and none I see that are running for the office.

Hiring a President is sorta like hiring cops, to my mind; anybody who applies for the job has automatically disqualified himself.

  • P.s. I think James Webb is close, and a certified Dem War Hero. (I do have “Born Fighting” open before me right now, not that I would let his excellent writing and service as a Marine officer influence my judgment, or anything…)

Never happen, though. That would scare the normals too much.
