Lex, Good for You. I am a one man band, and have been for some 15 years. My customer over that time has been the Navy (NAVAIR) and I have done some work for Boeing (a NASA project). I am doing some GA work right now as the Navy is retiring the Plane that has been my bread and butter (the S-3). I am always shopping for work, it is a grind. I hope your shop has a nice desk or cube for you, not quite the same as the top of the -18 but its real work now. Enjoy.

Funny you should mention it giving you a head ache. My uncle flies a Wasp radial engined Stearman doing airshows and does a manouver called a “Lumshovak” that basically has you flying upside down and backwards for a while. He tells me he knows if he got it right because it gives you a headache. Supposedly invented by famous Czech aerobatic guy Mira Slovak.

Worked for Booz Allen in Bethesda for two years after I got out of the Navy. My boss then is now their CEO. Great company doing great work. Tied for the best job I ever had.

A friend flew a Staudacher, and eventually made the US World Aerobatic Team while an airline pilot. He perpetually looked like he had a hang-over. Minus 10G made the tiny vessels in his eyes burst, and plus 12Gs were hard on vessels elsewhere.
