Getting it from both sides

The Clintons used to see their enemies as a kind of vast, right-wing conspiracy. Now the former president is blaming his wife’s political misfortunes on a powerful liberal media and MoveOn.org.

Back in the day, he used to call this “triangulation.”

Times up.

I thought Clinton was big on MoveOn in the “Betray Us” thing.

  • It’s weird to go into the wayback machine and hear them nattering on about the vast rightwing conspiracy. The only constant in Clinton-land is, well, the Clintons. They are the pivot around which everything spins. And of course, it’s never their fault.

There is definitely truth in the charge now. On the Left side of politics, Hillary has been weighed and found wanting. The media therefore, not only abandoned her, but stomped on her body first as they stampeded to the newest fairest Leftwinger of them all.

One thing I realized on watching the delegate thing this morning live on CNN (which shows that they lean to Clinton… some) is that they are showing *everyone* how the sausage is made. Bad Idea.

I read on another blog that Clinton is this year’s Joe Lieberman of the democratic party. The hot new thing has become a darling of the far left, and the more center-left candidate is being pushed out.

It’ll be interesting to see how this shakes out come November.

Whoa… if Ms. Hillary is the “new” Lieberman, would that make her a potential VP for McCain??? NOT!
