Heard something this week about Congress approval rating being the absolute lowest ever (something like 9%, to which the commentator remarked, “why do we even bother calling it an approval rating? Why not a 91% disapproval rating”?).
Image that came to mind was of a hall of shame board, photos of many of our elected senators with the bright red “No” / Null signs over their faces….
Change we can believe in? What a rat’s nest. Sad commentary that they are the duly elected representatives of “the people”.
“After all, they’re reality based!” Uh, yeah? What reality? Who’s reality? I don’t know what they’re smoking, but it must be some GREAT stuff. The problem is it is from both sides on many different issues. Many people on all sides and branches should use some of their health care for a “cranial-rectal extraction. Now that would be a definite start, it would help with their vision issues. It would definitely help with their crappy outlook.

It really sucks to be so wrong about your country’s military servicemen and women and the Generals that you approved for their positions in this war, especially when those Generals actually execute a plan which makes you look like a complete and perfect idiot, unworthy of the title of Congressman or Senator.

Democrats like Sam Nunn and Ben Nelson still have my respect for their willingness to actually believe in the Men and Women of America.
Republicans confuse me over whether they really understand how important this war actually is. It is either the most important sustained ideological conflict of the next 25 yrs or it is a tempest in a teapot and we should completely ignore the Islamists. Just let them have their way with us.
Which is it? The American people are searching for someone who will put Americans and our safety before foreigners interests. Here or in their country.

All anyone has to do is look at the left coast to understand what the ‘Dhimmicrats’ (Thanks, SubSunk) can and will do to a society. Loss of rights, taxation, a bloated welfare system, job emigration, and their incessant whining about how the other side of the house has screwed things up!
