My deepest thanks for all of the kind words expressed here. Jennider was a sister who meant so very much to me. She was only 13 when I embarked on a Navy carreer, and was more than a little miffed that her only, and older, brother was leaving home. As it turnd out, it was a permanent state of affairs. Of, I came back for cisits, but my new home was always somewhere else.
Jennider accepted that, and besides me folks, she was the one who always wrote to me. She told me of her life, what was going on in town, and how the family was really doing. Through it all, we kept in touch more so than my 4 other sisters and I did.
To say she was a gidted artist is an understatement. It was a true gift, and her work came as naturally to her as anything I ever saw. Outgoing, friendly, she stood her ground and lived her life and raisef her kids the way SHE wanted to, and I could not have nbeen more proud of her.
She also sacrificed much to stay at home and take care of our mother during her last years. Jebbifer was a constant helper, stabding in for the rest of us when we couldn’t be there, and asking little in return.
She was my little sister with a great heart, and my confidant and friend. She’s left a good name for her children, and a body of work that anyone could be proud of.
As for me, I’ll be off the grid for about a week or so. I’ll be having surgery to remove some scar tissue in my left eye nect week, and things should be “looking” a lot better very shortly afterwards.
Again,m thank you all so very much for your kindnesses and prayers. They are gratefully and humbly received, and a true comfort to this old airdale.
