"Sign on, young man, and sail with me. The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones
"Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra"
"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche
"A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke
“You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours.”--General Sir Charles Napier

I had the same problem this morning and had just begun surgery to fix-so your post was timely.
Had the prob here, too. All fixed now. Amazing how many blogs were impacted. Crazy thing: over in the Fever Swamps (KOS, HUFF, etc.), they didn’t seem to be hit so badly.
Thanks, Lex!
Yet another sign Firefox will one day be king of teh Internets!
Fear not! I feex!
Or a bigger sign that one day Apple will rule the world.
Slowly converting our home to Apples… one computer at a time. It may take years due to the expense, but we love our Apple.
Get Firefox, folks. You’ll love it.
So, what you’re all saying is: once again the medium got in the way of the message?
It’s stopped raining here now, so I think it’s time to get on my Hog and ride somewhere.
Best of times to you all this fine day and remember, “Hey, “D” is for drive” .
I’m NOT a Luddite! I just don’t believe in fixing anything to do with a computer unless it’s completely broken
Like Byron, I’m no Luddite… just have no talent when it comes to fixin’ things. Especially those that go whir, click, chug, and clank. That also includes computers.
Mr. Totten has posted essentially the same message. People are not going to change their browser (at least not a meaningful number). May as well say that get rid of the Luddite Windows PC and go towards the Lights (Mac).
Ain’t gonna happen. (If that particular grammer is good enough for Buckley, it is good enough for me).

The explanation of the bug and 8 ways to fix it: http://motls.blogspot.com/2008/08/fix-internet-explorer-7-with-sitemeter.html
I hesitate to post an old typewriter lady’s solution to this. Since I’m only semi-literate in the more challenging aspects of computerdom, I keep both Mozilla and Internet Explorer on my computer. If one misbehaves, the other one usually gets me there. Is that So Wrong?

Why in the Hell is anyone still using Internet Explorer?
IE sucks. Period.
Safari on an iPod touch: it’s the way of the future.
Cheers
Seems to me, the Apple users are the Luddites, from a loose definition of the term. They even tout themselves on their commercials as such… artsy, small niched, independant, railing against the mainstream MS IE Crowd that LOOMS LARGE (ha ha Pun intended) . I’d love to be an Apple Luddite too, however, much as I may try, the Fortune 500 company that I’m in the employ of will not go down that road. And, no offense Lex, when I’m at home, the LAST thing I want to do is surf the ‘net and read a blog. Only when extreme boredom sets in will that happen…
But, thanks for getting the door opened back up, not sure what I’d do here at work without this place to hang out in!
One of the reasons I hesitated so long before adopting Firefox was that I didn’t realize just how incredibly simple the change would be.
Having said that, I’ve just tried adding sitemeter to my blog, and can’t seem to figger it out. I’m not a luddite, I’m just stupid.
Umm, I suggest and highly recommend Google Analytics – much better and completely free.
