I dunno about pro football. I do remember one time in the old Orange Bowl when we were in the end zone, and a very large Oakland raider crashed into our high school band, knocked a coupla of us down, and demonstrated just how thin the brass is on sousaphones. They really crumpled. The pro jocks seemed to think it was funny. Band nerds don't get no respect. P.s. I dunno about pro football.
