A new baby

Jules’ wife Amy has been in labor – lo! – these several months, and she has finally brought forth.

Congratulations to the proud pair!

Wow. . .I read that whole page looking for something about a baby before I finally got it.

So when will the leather-bound, hardcover editions of “Rhythms” spring forth from Lex’s swollen womb?

Hmm. . .I guess metaphors only go so far before they just get weird. . .

    Doesn’t take too long, either!

    ;-)

  • Seriously, Lex, if Stephen Coonts can make a gazillion dollars of his books, you should at least be able to break even on a novelization of Rythms… get crackin’

  • Ah , ’tis sad indeed.
We speak but he seems not to hear …

Oh, it’s not about listening. It’s about believing. And making the time.

    But thanks.

  • Time I can understand, my good host. Believing? C’mon, Bill LaBarge was able to get a two book deal. All he did was fictionalize his last cruise. Yours just needs a little editing.

  • What he said.

But it’s about believing in yourself in yourself, Lex. Now as I understand it (and please correct me if I’m wrong) fighter pilots aren’t known for lacking self-confidence …

Make a commitment. Make it happen.
Then sit back and funnel some away into the post-retirement retirement fund. There’s nuttin’ in it for us. Honest. :D

Husbands aren’t supposed to offer critiques of their wives’ literary efforts, or their baby producing struggles for that matter, as I’m sure many of you husbands know. They’re supposed to lead the cheering section. Jules does this charmingly.
