I was there in 92. I already knew the steam cycle. Funny story re Steam, when I took my ESWS board in 88 as YN3, first question was from the OPS guy to describe the Steam cycle on the boat. after I drew it with a whole lotsa extras, the BTC mentioned I was a Snipe for 2 years. thus ended the engineering questions. My hardest topic whilst also one of the most fascinating was Celestial Nav. Thank God my neighbor was a QMC. Curtis.
