XBradTC ~ I wondered about that too. MacGyver had a heckuva time getting waivers for the few things for which he needed them. Maybe it was the tumor that allowed him to scale that 13-story building...

Interesting that he can get waivers for a felony conviction and for a tumor.

If he'd had a misdemeanor domestic battery conviction, he'd be out of luck, since he would be prohibited by federal law from possessing a firearm.

Can you imagine how truly mad he must have been? I mean, scaling a 13 story building! Whatever it was, it pushed him hard.

I'm with the majority, for certain. He paid his price and made good. I'm with Marianne when it comes to her thoughts: let him who has no sin cast the first stone. Good for him!

Did anyone notice, the Boston Herald mislabels him an "Iraq combat vet." Yet he served in the 'Stan...

Agreed. There are very few people in this world who can cast stones without being hypocritical. I'm surely not one of them.

I am impressed that this man has taken responsibility for his actions, paid his debt to society, and is doing what he can to make the best of his life. Quite a good example.
