“Troopergate”?

Pre-election complaints against a 6′2″, 260 pound state trooper who tasered his 12-year old stepson?

Tough sell, back home.

Update: Speaking of complaints, a new Rasmussen poll says that, based on a favorable first impression, 53% of Americans now hold a favorable impression of the Alaskan governor, as opposed to 26% that have an unfavorable opinion.

Always that same 26%.

Update 2: Mark Steyn gets the librarian thing too. Clever boy. Ross Douthat is somewhat more substantive.

Each to their own.

    Today in the news:

    Governor pressures state employee!

    President fires Presidential appointees!

I just hate it when the Executive uses the power directly given to them by the voters. Bad form.

That 26% would vote for Stalin over Abe Lincoln. “progressive leading revolutionary” against “reactionary imposer of religiously based hegemonic culturally imperialistic morality upon diverse subculture,” don’t you know

That 6′2″ trooper tasered his 12-year-old stepson? This is the guy that Palin wanted fired?

I’m an unrepentant believer in an eye-for-an-eye. I know, I know, it’s not very Christian of me. But I am. And someone should taser that big brute with his own taser. And then punch him in the nose. And definitely get him away from children.

My God, the Democrats are frantically trying to dig up something to hang on Sarah. Now pay attention, you rubes. We women don’t like to see children tasered, unless they’re firing AK-47s. Then we might negotiate. But I’m pretty sure the boy wasn’t firing a gun, so this was a major over-reaction. Frankly, I don’t think a grown man like that should be allowed to wear a police uniform, and obviously, neither does Gov. Sarah.

Heard the rumor yet that her youngest son is actually her grandson? Saw some pretty good comments from Alaskan conspiracy nuts on that one . . .

The youngest was born four months ago, and a couple months earlier, we have pictures of Gov. Palin speaking in public, and quite obviously pregnant.

I didn’t know that Alaska grew recreational pharmaceuticals, unless you count potatoes. Maybe the conspiracy mob is smoking reindeer lichen.

The Dimocrats and their “Infamous 26%” will continue to plant rumors, go negative and run all kinds of negative tripe through those such as the nefarious Olberboy.

Remember the Boy Scout motto: “Be Prepared” … just as Lex’s citations are wont to do.

Yeah, the idiot that tasered his stepson also was caught drinking a beer in his patrol car. He had several “problems” that he was counceled on. Beldar has the scoop on this non-scandal. Once again, it’s a case of malicious spin.

The Matanuska-Susitna Valley has some of the most potent MaryJane you can find. Plus, the lack of population makes it easier to run meth labs without those pesky neighbors butting in.

Not that I would know anything about these things personally…but it might explain the conspiracy theories.
