    Australia seems to be the last bastion of non-PC thought–and even there, PC is rapidly gaining ground. GREAT billboard, though; falls in the class of “wish I’d thought of that!”

    After the S-3 community decided it didn’t need we SENSOs or to find subs anymore (genius plan there) and I found myself hard filled in P-3 (wing dude) hell, I learned to always look on the bright side of life and availed myself of every det to the land of smiles…..but that was long ago, and I’m a different person now. Isn’t that how that line goes Lex?

    Phuket was more laid back (no pun intended) but Pattaya always had the nightlife! I suspect that there was random pieces of metal floating in the atmosphere over Siam and Australia, because the ‘chips’ light never failed to illuminate in the vicinity of those two great sailor-friendly lands…

    Ya… and never mind the pronunciation disconnect. It’s a GREAT visual! Not to mention a triple-entendre, at the VERY least.

    –Buck, who spent four wonderful months on a mountaintop near Chiang Mai, a month at Ramasun Station, and several weeks “coordinating” in Bangkok… mid-70s. {sigh}
