Being no fan of rollercoasters, I tried peering at the X2 link. The description alone made my stomach flip.

Hmm, I’ve always hated roller coasters. Unlike my brother, who flies a bugsmasher now, and somehow always managed to *persuade* me to accompany him. Usually in the back seat, if he had his way. Which he generally did.

So perhaps I was always means to simply observe this fun from afar … vicariously like, through Lex’s writing. So be it.

Thanks for the reply in the update there I’m glad you and yours had a good time at the park. I personally liked X (haven’t been there since the upgrade), but I do recommend a return for the experience of Goliath. I’m also a bit surprised that you’d leave so early – I never left before I was pushed out at the end of the day, but then again that was quite a few years ago now.

Thanks Homefront!

I used to commute once a month to San Francisco which led me through LA and environs and it used to bug me that all the adverts one saw from the freeway through LA were for the dirty dozen fast food places. I really like a double double but they just don’t advertise well…

Of course, now, I have the In and Out at the end of the block from my office by the Sports Arena……………..darn it.

Curtis, shoot…between MM and SD, there have to be at least five right off I-5. Personally speaking, I’m partial to the one on Laurel Canyon Blvd. Lots of interesting history in that area…

I love roller coasters. My kids have inherited the need for speed while going in loops. Unfortuantely, the inner ear is all wonky now, and although I still go on them, I do so with far more trepidation. The boys… have none. They want it faster and loopier…
