Our kids taking French or Spanish don't get half the grammar fundamentals that we got from taking Latin. (The teachers were more interesting too.) Working through the various singular/plural forms of the words reminds me of the 2 years of Latin I took in high school. Fun class (the instructor made is fun), but a lot of repetition like this...
