John Ziegler, the writer/director/producer who commissioned a poll of Obama voters, and whose video documentation of those results raised Teh Dread Spectre of ad hominem!!1! in these our humble digs, has produced a similar effort targeting McCain voters. The results might, or might not surprise you.
(Warning – Do not mistake wounded outrage for surprise, they’re like, totally different things.)
Here are just some of the “highlights” of the Wilson Research Strategies poll of 1,000 voters whose demographic breakdown was an exact replica of the total voting population and whose results totally vindicate the controversial Zogby poll:
- 35 % of McCain voters got 10 or more of 13 multiple choice questions correct.
- 18% of Obama voters got 10 or more of 13 questions correct.
- McCain voters knew which party controls congress by a 63-27 margin.
- Obama voters got the “congressional control” question wrong by 43-41.
- Those that got “congressional control” correct voted 56-43 for McCain.
And so on. Like any of that matters, now. Just, you know: For the record.

Well, he’s done it now. Injecting facts into the hopenchange dream machine. Silly git.
Leftists don’t NEED facts. Facts simply get in the way of their bubble-up buzz and force them to think up more ad hominii to respond with.
Honestly, though, I can think of few recipes that aren’t improved if you add hominy, but that’s something different to stew on.
Hehe AW1…all that and a big o’ chips…”
“A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still”
ok…in TX, big=bag..
In TX, everything’s big. At least that’s what I keep hearing…
Sean Hannity’s ‘Man on the Street’ interviews during that time proved telling. Not so much because many people couldn’t give the correct answer to many of the questions asked, but because they weren’t interested in having the the answer.
With ‘Hope and Change’, who needs frickin’ answers, Dude?
What would be really interesting is to go back to the same people polled in the original Zogby poll in four years, and see how much/if their lives changed for the better. While their answers where certainly entertaining most recently, I’m pretty sure they’d be downright hilarious in four years. We can only HOPE they’ll CHANGE and get educated!
This whole thing mostly serves as an ointment to soothe the burn we’re all feeling… smug us drawing on our vast reservoir of superior political knowledge and intellect to one up the dopes who voted on the promise of hope and change. Hell of a way to make an informed decision.
I visited the link and read the comments left by the leftists and can only say, wow! I used to wonder what the elite leftists thought of those that elected them to public office. Today, I learned the answer when Harry Reid came out on TV and said, “they smell”.
That’s about right.
Lee, if they were not willing to seek out knowledge and inform themselves prior to voting this election, what makes you think they would fail to attribute any change in their lives 4 years from now to anything other than the president?
Just curious, I’m seeing a default behavior here that tells me the poll results will be inaccurate.

Lee:
Two faults with this logical approach:
1) You assume those folks might recall something beyond the last ten minutes of self gratification (or MSM bombardment).
2) They will be told they are better off!
Most people don’t recal yesterday’s headlines…and that’s now, not 4 years hence.
That was the HOPE part of my comments. Even I know you can lead a horse to water… you could even hold his head down in said water…
The the question is, whose gonna place a lip-lock on his a$$ to provide a suction????
As Lincoln said, you can fool some of the people all of the time, and apparently, a large number of them.
Hope and Change. What a platform. Hope for what? and Change from what to what?
We’re obviously screwed unless we believe the MSM.
