Targets of Opportunityblog advertising is good for you Credo"Sign on, young man, and sail with me. The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones "Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra" "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche "A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke “You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours.”--General Sir Charles Napier "Μολὼν λαβέ" -- Leonidas "Blogito Ergo Sum" -- Neptunus Lex Amazon AssociateFor the Effort!Winnar!![]() Subscribe![]() CategoriesPagesTagsacademy

Don’t know what to call the robber other than dead, but the clerk definitely falls into the Knuckle-draggen’ gun-toten’ Constitution-Wavin’ Patriots would be my guess. Most endearing thing about the robbery story? He was carried out with SEVERAL holes in him.
Nothing says GET LOST better that a quick series of double-taps to the chest.
Give the clerk a medal, I say, for the tight grouping.
Speaking of same: What say you, Lex, about this bit of bravado?
Geez…I love a good segway in the morning!
Here’s another one. Who says there’s never any good news?

Big Bob, clinging to his gun, gets the job done.
Big Bob, bless his heart as we say in the South, reminds me of a quote from one of Tommy Lee Jones’ movies: “Big Dog is always right.” Let’s hear it for Big Bob.
The police spokesman with his wussy comment that the folks being held up by gunmen should have waited for the police, reminded me of Lex’s famous statement about the wisdom of owning house guns, to the effect that even if the police are fairly prompt, the only thing they’ll be able to do is avenge your murder. Let’s hear it for Lex!

Police – when seconds count they’re only a few minutes away.
AMEN Brother Steve!
I’d label him as a justified business owner who also happens to be a pretty good brother!
The “better-off-dead” idiot was staring at “Big Bob’s” brother Kevin, counting out the days receipts, when Big Bob’s target practice paid off!
What would I label Big Bob?
Any way he wants to be labeled.
I’m wondering who would rather take one in the head than deliver a just ventilation to a criminal such as this. Big Bob saved his life and the life of his brother. Good on him!
