Guilty verdicts for a terror plot against soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey:
Five Muslim immigrants accused of scheming to massacre U.S. soldiers at Fort Dix were convicted of conspiracy Monday in a case that tested the FBI’s post-Sept. 11 strategy of infiltrating and breaking up terrorist plots in their earliest stages. The men could get life in prison when they are sentenced in April.
The five, who lived in and around Philadelphia for years, were found guilty of conspiring to kill U.S. military personnel. But they were acquitted of attempted murder, after prosecutors acknowledged the men were probably months away from an attack and did not necessarily have a specific plan. Four defendants were also convicted of weapons charges.
Some guy in Barack Obama’s neighborhood could not be reached for comment, but if he had been, he would have undoubtedly blamed the fact that these men of color were convicted of a conspiracy while white children of privilege escaped prosecution for a similar – although much more fully developed plot – is due to the inherent racism in the system.

Yeah! That’s it! The man keepin’ the bruthas down! Why, one might be surprised to note the deafening silence from certain quarters of the political spectrum over the injustice inherent in a system such as ours!
Where are the Weathermen? Where are the SDS? Isn’t this exactly what they were fighting against? Oh wait…….
Never mind…
Since the Weathermen are gone, we can return to being Nordic oppressors of the downtrodden people of color. All that civil rights stuff was just a smoke screen to get us through until our true light could shine once more.
Quartermaster, what’s kind of funny (in an ironic sort of way) is the Nordic Oppressors used to sell slaves to the Rus. Generally these slaves were collected from places like France, Britain and Ireland. The Rus, in turn, shipped them down-river and sold them to Rome and Byzantium.
Which, guess who the Byzantine emperor employed as his personal guards, known as the Varangians? Yup, Nordic Oppressors.
There has to be a joke in this, with the punchline being “a circle of jerks,” but I’m not coming up with a straightline just yet.
It’s actually kind of a sobering thought, 900 years ago my ancestors brought the Dark Ages upon the continent of Europe. Today, we cancelled the Sons of Norway meeting because of snow.

Very few know what you and I do. There are Runes carved into some of the wood work in the old Hagia Sophia. What are commonly called “Vikings” (Viking is actually a verb that became a noun) were all over the place. The Rurikoviches were actually Swedes that ruled Russia before the Romanovs.
Kinda funny, nicht wahr?
Sons of Norway canceled because of snow? That is really amusing!
The six foreign-born Muslim men living in New Jersey were charged with a comical plot to break into Fort Dix and shoot their way back out, or something. They were in fact just shiftless lazy bums who disliked America but not enough to do anything about it until an overzealous FBI “informant” earned his $1,500 a week by goading them, repeatedly, into planning this bizarre Fort Dix thing.
The informant berated them into picking a target, and he encouraged them to stick with the plan every time they had second thoughts, with was often, because they were lazy and disorganized “terrorists” who’d be utterly unable to finance, plan, arrange, and carry out a terrorist attack of any kind without an FBI informant holding their hands and browbeating them into halfhearted jihad.
So good work, US Government. You are keeping us safe by keeping the mildly disgruntled Muslim versions of the characters from Clerks off the streets, forever.
Gary, you think that the kinds of folks who used to blow themselves up at school houses in Iraq had PhDs? It wasn’t the US government who are sending these guys to jail, it was a jury of their peers, well removed from the emotional horrors of 9/11.

Gary -
‘Goading’, ‘browbeating’, and ‘berating’ might be an excuse for causing a school kid to act out, but we’re talking about adults. These guys are wearing pull-up pants, aren’t they? If they didn’t like what was being said or suggested by their acquaintance, they should/could have walked away from it, or better yet, contacted the authorities. No excuses.
Unless those authorities happen to be fascist, jack-booted, ninja garb-wearing SWAT personnel, of course.
Lex: Plenty of the Tube bombers did have advanced degrees, actually.
Gary,
I see you’ve been reading the news over at PrisonPlanet & DemocracyNow!
Yes Lex, as the French would say a la Halifax: “pour l’encourger les autres” to “do the right thing.”
Now, I’m with Gary as far as my general distrust of government informants. Cui bono?
But in this case, our friend Gary is dead wrong:

Worth the read for the way it demolishes all the leftard, libertarian and mooslim defenses of the FD5.
