the effect of Global Warming these days is even worst. i think every government should pass stricter laws on Carbon Emissions. we should also concentrate more on renewable energy sources and avoid fossil fuels.

Yet another piece that is finally seeing daylight in more “mainstream” venues! Reading some of the commentary folliwing on the HuffPost site I find a disturbing trend of dismissiveness toward those opposed to AGW because the “scientific community has embraced AGW”. Of course, history has recorded time and again where the minority challenge of the ideas of the day were met with strong resistance. . . even death!
So, it comes as no surprise that anyone who stands against AGW is called a freak with an agenda who works for that villanous scum Big Biz! What frightens me most is the religious zealotry the global climate changers have about their theories, and the ability to readily brainwash the masses with incomplete or manipulated data. Empiricism seems to be absent, or outright dismissed when it comes to AGW.

I say just follow the money, and you will find why AGW is so strongly supported! It doesn’t pay to stand against it.

I cal Huff Po, the Puffington Post, because of the naive pundits who have no idea of what they don’t know, or any idea of what science is. Gore’s earlier book was laughed at while I was Engineering School at Tennessee Tech, which is just up the road from Gore’s estate in Smith County. He went quiet for awhile, until El Nino and he went to California, as VP, to celebrate having “whipped” it.

Dave has it right, though. It’s a means to control over the lives of others.

What is most disturbing are the comments to the article. It Makes no difference to the average leftist. What Ted “Mouth of The South” Turner said years ago about Christians is true of the average leftist. They are easily lead and controlled. Just feed them the latest line, and off they go like a half cocked rifle (as mother used to say).

I never believed that the proponents of “Global Warmism” really believed what they are so forcefully supporting. To be sure, there are a number of “useful idiots” out there for whom the environment has become the new religion. For the Global Warmists, climate change was the means to enact laws and regulations which would require massive government intervention to enforce and regulate the laws on the books.
At it’s worst, the Global Warming cover is a power grab by the left. At it’s least, it is misguided good, but wrong, intentions.
