“Transnational Legal Process”

Yeah, I’d never heard of it either.

I, for one, welcome our new transnational overlords.

    U.S. Constitution – What Constitution?

I welcome the transnational Supreme Court Justices next.

Yeah, and think that this fellow is likely to be Omama’s nominee for the SCOTUS. Shudder…..

He’s not the only one, sports-fans. Yale is full of ‘em. Hit the site “Balkanization” which is a legal blog run by Yale law professor Jack Balkin. Just scroll down through the last oh, year or so, to get a flavor. REAL big on arrest and trial of Bush, Cheney, et al. (to include legal advisers like John Yoo, now a professor at Berkeley, of all places) for the usual assortment of “crimes” against the constitution and civil liberties re: “Torture” and “eavesdropping.”

On second thought, no one here need visit, really, I’m sure everyone here already has a real mental picture of what they will find…

I for one DO NOT welcome the Transnational Overlords. One if by land or two if by sea!

He’s a big fan of Sharia law, right? Thinks we as a nation should fallow it.

Isn’t Sharia a RELIGIOUS LAW? Wouldn’t that constitute a mingling of church and state?

Oh wait. Almost forgot. The rules don’t apply to the savior and his apostles.

    • No…You have it wrong. They have been a “minority” (ask them, they’ll tell you) so long in World history, now we have to let them have their way for a period of time to relieve their oppressed feelings.

To be serious: I’ve been concerned for years that the NOW has been either MIA, or just UA in this entire discussion. I had delusions of hundreds of thousands of wymen flocking to USMC Recruiting stations, begging for time at PI, and to be sent to the Middle East, to…you know…”take them to task (to be polite)” for the centuries of misogyny…and then I woke up in the real world and found we are here.

Here’s another fascinating language tidbit, issued by the one guy in Mr. Obama’s White House who studied Semantics in college. The Global War on Terror terminology, which is very clear, if somewhat frightening, is now to be designated the “overseas contingency operation.” Not only is this so deliberately unclear that inquiring minds can’t even figure out what it means, try saying it out loud three times, then going off to do something else, then trying to recall what the hell it was an hour later. I’ve tried this three times in the past three days, and I just can’t remember what the phrase is. Joseph Goebbels would be proud of these guys.

I just find it very scary, and reminiscent of George Orwell.

And just what does the “H” in “BHO” stand for?

I’d like to be Transnational warlord. I’ll erect a post on the Mall and y’all can name the people I’ll have tied to it. As warlord, I’d get first pick.

I can’t name the one I’d want as the Secret Service would make a visit.

Guys, catch up on your reading in biblical prophecy. The US isn’t there. Most everyone else is mentioned or inferred, the US ain’t. Any guesses why?

  • Hey, Lex, don’t blame me. I voted for Kodos.

We’re 2+ months into the “Big O’s” administration and his incomprehensible beat just goes on… Whatever are we in for in the next 6 months, next year?

Unconstituionally opinionated jurists, Speakers of the House who espouse breaking our laws, run out of money?, just throw another trillion into the economy, Senators in the pocket of mortgage and insurance companies regulating same, calling Supreme Court Justices liars and of course the late-night talk show tour.

One good thing? Well, at least we don’t have to pay the IRS… at least until we get nominated for a cabinet post.

@Quartermaster: my best answer to your question is that 2-3000 years ago North America was nothing but wilderness sparsely populated with savages. Add to the fact that no one in the Persian or later Roman world knew the continent even existed. So on the first count, not worth an angel mentioning it to a prophet, and second count no one would understand or care if said angel did.

There would have been a point IF the US were involved. That’s just the way God works. he knows the future in detail and tells His people, just as He told Abraham about the fate of Sodom.

    April fools!

    …or maybe not.

    Check out the Bloomberg article

The Federal Reserve has committed to a sum total that equals our GDP of last year.

Weimar Republic inflation, here we come.
