The Speaker must not be liking her press coverage:
Nancy Pelosi makes surprise visit to Baghdad, Iraq
During a brief Mother’s Day visit to Iraq on Sunday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi reaffirmed her commitment to ensure that the U.S. military meets its June 30 deadline for withdrawing American troops from major cities in the country, according to a release from her office.
The speaker, accompanied by Rep. Rush Holt (D-N.J.), met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and Ayad al-Samarai, the speaker of the Iraqi parliament, to discuss what the release called the need for rooting out “wide-spread corruption that is impeding reconstruction and the delivery of services to the Iraqi people,” gathering better intelligence in anticipation of the withdrawal and resolving a border conflict with the Kurds.
Right now I’d settle for better intelligence (and less corruption) in Washington.
But hey, maybe you go for the quick wins.

“Physician heal thyself” is apropos, I think.
Pelosi urging the rooting of corruption is hilarious for its shear hypocrisy. If we were serious about rooting out corruption, she would be on a short list of people to send to the Super-max prison.
I wonder if she will remember making this trip and receiving these briefings….
Dust – good one that.
Any one care to place a bet on when iraq degenerates into a tribal/feudal/clan based all out war? The ORPs (Obama Reid Pelosi – (Hmm, gotta change that tho’, ORP used to be Officer Rest Period)) will declare victory, leave, and then tisk tisk as the Sunni Shiite thing gets out of hand, Iran steps in with its helping hand, and they can all blame GWB.
