The FBI and NYPD busted a four-man homegrown terror cell Wednesday night that was plotting to blow up two Bronx synagogues while simultaneously shooting a plane out of the sky, sources told the Daily News.
The idea was to create a “fireball that would make the country gasp,” one law enforcement said.
Little did they know the plastic explosives packed into their car bombs and the plane-downing Stinger missile in their backseat were all phony – supplied by undercover agents posing as Pakistani militants linked to Al Qaeda…
The suspects – three U.S.-born citizens and one Haitian immigrant – at least three of whom were said to be jailhouse converts to Islam, were angry about the deaths of Muslims in Afghanistan, sources told The News.
“They wanted to make a statement,” a law enforcement source said. “They were filled with rage and wanted to take it out on what they considered the source of all problems in America – the Jews.”
Now they’ll go back to jail, with a chance to convince other disaffected morons that all their life’s problems are due to that 1.7% of the American population that is Jewish.
This is the cost to our society of not having a death penalty.

Wow. I thought the reason they all wanted to kill us was because of waterboarding. So, if we need to stop waterboarding, because it is a recruitment tool, then do we need to stop the war in Afghanistan as well?

Sounds to me like Gitmo would make a great home for these “lost souls”. Sure wish that there was legally some way to send them there. Sending them to Gitmo would prevent them from receiving more “education” in prison,while at the same time, prevent them from spreading their brand of hate-filled Islamic poison once they’re released into society.
So let me get this right… , after conviction petty criminals enter the prison system and emerge as Moozlim activists/terrorists.
At least some government sponsored production programs (which we sponsor as taxpayers) are becoming effective.
The Jooos, Always the Jooos.
If we could only get rid of the source of the Middle East’s irritation–those nasty Jooos–everything would be fine and the Arab world would no longer hate us, right?
Unfortunately, there are many in the current Obama administration who more or less think this way; that Israel
is the problem–a problem made only worse by Israel’s “blind,” “stubborn” refusal to give in to the more “reasonable” of the Arab demands and thus maximum pressure should be put upon Israel to make concessions. The Obama Administration is absolutely riddled with such types in key advisory roles and as Agency and Dept Heads.
And we can see this view in the latest reports of the talks between Obama and Israel’s PM. Obama & Co. see movement on the the Palestinian-Israeli problem as a necessary pre-condition for progress on the Iranian problem, while the Israeli’s think the priority is to focus on Iran first.
Setting aside for the moment the argument as to which viewpoint is objectively correct, and thus the more likely to bring forth the fruits of a more peaceful ME, the Obama approach DOES have one thing going for it–Israel is easier to push around. It won’t shoot back. It’s the old “I’m looking-for-the-car-keys-that-I-lost-in- the-darkened-back-alley-at-midnight-out-here-on-the-corner-of-main-street-and-1st-st-under-the-street-lamp-because-the-light-is-so-much-better-here” kind of reasoning–the path of least resistance.
Israel is going to be fighting a two-front war from now on–one with the Arabs/Muslims and one with the Obama Administration.
One of the key action items that Netanyahu wrote in his book, “Fighting Terrorism -How Democracies Can Defeat The International Terrorist Network” (originally published in 1995, updated in 2001) was “Do Not Release Jailed Terrorists”.
This was one of the best books on Terrorism that I have read, and written from a man who has been fighting on the front lines of this battle for decades.
Someone said in an earlier post that sailors take the sea as it is; similarly Israel has to take the world as it is. America has always supported Israel, though I do not believe that BHO will (at least not if he has a choice). I hope that America will continue to support Israel.
The Gaza Strip, Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, Lebanon, Iran; these elements are all coming to a head very soon. I believe that Israel will be proactive and aggressive (with or without US support) since their first strategic mistake will probably be their last, and both Persian and Arab Muslims will be dancing in the streets if they are allowed to destroy Israel.
Most security meetings/conferences that I have attended over the past ten years or so have stressed that prisons are an active and fertile breeding ground for converts to Muslim Extremist groups (and domestic gangs). Local, State and Federal authorities are frustrated as hell about the situation.
