The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones "Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra" "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche "A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke "Μολὼν λαβέ" -- Leonidas "Blogito Ergo Sum" -- Neptunus Lex Relocating?Military members find information on homes for military by visiting Military Homes.com For the Effort!Subscribe![]() Tagsafghanistan AGW Araby army Blogging buffoonery china culture economy Flying Friday Musings geopol GWOT Headlines health care History iran iraq issues Media Memory Lane Military Navy norks Oz pakistan piracy politicians politics Politics and Culture pundits Russia science seals sea stories silliness Small Stuff SoCal sport technology UAVs UK usaf usmc weapons WP Cumulus Flash tag cloud by Roy Tanck and Luke Morton requires Flash Player 9 or better. |

I thought I said none of that John Woo bullshit?
Are these guys part of the same department? I count 2 AK types, 1 Ruger, 1 AR, and the guy with 2 pistols looks to have both a Beretta and M1911. How does he decide which pouch to reload from under pressure? Standardization anyone???
OK, just noticed… The vests say “policia”. ‘Splains a lot.
My guess is that the “dual wielder” just grabs a mag from the guy crouched down with the AK – it looks like he’s got enough hangin’ from his belt!
My favorite part is the guy on the right with the multi-hued backpack. At least he brought his fashion sense to the gunfight.
Yeah, I like the dude with the Mini-14 (or possibly AC556) with the 30 round mag…
I believe the AC556 has a nastier looking flash hider….regular stainless Mini-14.
Geez…the aging brain had it correct…
Your not the Master Chief ….
“Drop your 40 pounders and come out, you crazy college kids–the neighbors are complaining about the noise!” (Not counting the fact you mooned the sisters of Ursuline Academy across the street, stole the crucifix from the alter of the Catholic Church on the corner, planted it in your front yard and peed on it–just for starters)
Sorry–”altAr”
The guy on the left is a member of BOPE, Rio de Janeiro’s Special Police Operations Battalion. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BOPE )
The others are just regular cops.
Looks like those “fokkers” don’t fool around–don’t wanta mess with them–sorta like the Guardia Civil under Franco, I’m thinkin.’ Back in the 70s when he was still in power it was all “Don’t tug at Superman’s cape”…..don’t EVEN joke around and think you’ll get by just because you’re a fun luvin’ drunk…..when they said move along–best MOVE ALONG!
BTW, is this a “Lex-o-Matic” post?
I know a shoe who can school him about leaving your readers with “stuff.”
Oh, crap! Guy Kawasaki twittered 30 min ago they were back from NIMITZ…no casualties…and no more details.
I guess we should standby for pics…and tales of the deep blue and civilians…
“no words can aptly describe how awesome this man is”.
One will do: ‘Tool’.
I don’t know about American CQB training but you’d get a boot up the arse in the British Army for this stupidity.
