Religiously Sanctioned Murder:
Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, also known as Carlos Bledsoe, is charged with capital murder and 15 counts of terroristic acts.
The shooting happened Monday morning at an Army/Navy recruitment center on Rodney Parham Road.
Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas says Muhammad intentionally targeted military personnel.
Private William Long, 23, of Conway, died as a result of his injuries.
Private Second Class Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, of Jacksonville, was also shot. Chief Thomas says he is in stable condition and will recover.
Police say Muhammad opened fire because of his religious beliefs. He was a recent convert to Islam.
Patiently awaiting the hue and cry from all the usual suspects.

Don’t hold your breath.
It’s already off the top headlines lists on most news sites (like Yahoo News), now.
Treason charges and death penalty applicable?
Hang the [allegedly] guilty SOB and the lawyers be damned.
Want to really stir up the loony left? Award them both the Purple Heart.
Stirring them up or not, I think you’re absolutely right–they should receive Purple Hearts.
Islam is religion of “piece” – ya know, a piece like a Colt .45 Commander or Ruger Blackhawk.
Since the demise of “global war on terrorism” this incident is now a “domestic contingency operation”
I think Ken Adams has it correct, they deserve Purple Hearts.
The Global War on Terror is truly global and in my back yard.
Really in my back yard, this was 1/2 mile from my home.
G-Man may also have a point. As a “domestic contingency operation” it is clearly domestic.
Amen Ken!
Who would’ve guessed I was a poet?
What the heck is a “Private Second Class?”
PV2 – E2. A mistake often made, even by those who ought to know better.
He wears mosquito wings as opposed to being a “slick sleeve” (no rank insignia).
SSG Jeff,
I know what they meant, but it bugs me that the press can’t get even the simplest things right.
And yes, since they should have been awarded the National Defense Service Medal at the end of Basic Training, they were injured (or killed) by enemy action.
Oughta make President Obama present the Purple Hearts.
SSGJeff(USAR)
Wanna lay odds on that EVER happening?
(BTW, does the NDSM serve as a stand-in for a GWOT campaign ribbon, or is there a separate one awarded?
Just googled–got ans. SSGJeff.
A good piece up now about this now at “American Thinker.” And as several have commented over at Lucianne, we wouldn’t want to get the Moosleems all riled up just before Obama’s trip to the Mid-East for genuflecting practice.
I have been asked to write up something about this as part of my job. In searching for background on the soldiers involved, I found something amazing…
The kind of young man who steps up and enlists during wartime apparently didn’t fall far from the tree in this case. I just saw this and was blown away–what a dignified, generous, strong, loving man the father of the soldier who died is: http://cfc.katv.com/videoondemand.cfm?id=41749
I know I’m going to get pummled, but at this point I just have to shake my head. This is a terrible crime-and a tragedy for the families involved. So too is the murder in Kansas. That is a crime every bit as heinous as this.
Both killers need to be tried and convicted and punished accordingly.
The soldiers deserved to live and not have to worry about this type of attack in their work place. So to did Dr. Tiller in his church.
I disagree with you more often than not, but I’m with you on this one, Skippy-san.
I agree.
Meh, murder is murder and the perpetrators of both crimes, when convicted, need an express ride to hell.
The lack of outrage from the Left has nearly eclipsed the immediate shouts from the MSM that “…the assassin was not a known member of any terrorist groups.”
Uh — yes he was. The name of the terrorist organization is Islam.
P.S. Also appears that the FBI already had him under (somewhat loose) surveillance and that he had studied “The Religion of Peace” in Yemen: http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/026380.php
P.P.S. I musta missed it on MSNBC — when did POTUS release his statement on the appalling nature of the murder and wounding of these soldiers.
The religion of peace strikes again.
